I always enjoy mysteries that have a past event that ties into the storyline. Corina and her father have made a new life for themselves. Twelve years ago her mother and brother were brutally murdered and since then her father has always been on edge. So when he goes missing, she knows that something is terribly wrong and she needs to uncover the truth about the past to figure out what is happening and why. With the help of her friend Allye and her brother, recently returned old flame and neighbor to Corina, the three friends work to uncover Corina’s past and are as surprised by what they find as Corina is. But none of this seems to make sense with what has been happening. Who is the target, what do they want and why? As this culprit gets more daring with their crimes, so does the lives of Corina and her friends become more at risk. Can they figure out how the past is connected and who is still wanting revenge and why? This was such a fast paced read, and lots of action!
